Serbian song released – Tijana to go in too deep at Eurovision?

Serbian National Public Broadcaster, RTS (Radio Televizija Srbije) announced in late February that Tijana Bogićević will represent them at 2017 Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev in May. Today, RTS finally released the song which is called In Too Deep.

Finally it is here, the Serbian entry for the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest. After a little teaser released, the full version is now available.

RTS has also revealed the team, that has written the Serbian entry for Kyiv. Their names are Borislav Milanov, Bo Persson, Johan Alkenas and Lisa Ann-Mari Linder. They were a part of Austria’s winning team in 2014. Furthermore it is the same composer team, that wrote If Love Was A Crime, which was performed by Poli Genova last year for Bulgaria. The song came in 4th place in the grand final.

More about Tijana Bogićević

Tijana Bogićević was born in Novi Sad 35 years ago. Tijana started her music career in 2001 as the backing vocalist for the famous Serbian singer Vlado Georgiev. Since then she has worked with many musicians from Serbia as backing vocalist. Her first appearance as a solo artist was in 2009, when she participated in the Serbian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest Beovizija with the song “Pazi šta radiš” but didn’t pass to the final.

Tijana already has experienced the atmosphere of Eurovision as she was one of the backing vocalist for Serbia’s Nina in 2011 in Düsseldorf. Bogićević achieved major recognition in Serbia in 2013, after the release of her single “Čudo”. The following year she released a duet with Aleksa Jelić, “Još jednom”.Now, she lives and works in the United States in Boston

This year, Serbia will participate in the second semi-final in the first half, which is scheduled on May 11th.
