Agnete to release Icebreaker video in special NRK programme

This Saturday will finally see the release of a music video for the Norwegian 2016 Eurovision entry, Icebreaker by Agnete. It will be aired in a special 40 minutes TV programme on NRK on Saturday the 2nd of April.

Agnete, full name Agnete Johnsen, naturally for Norway, and with a song called Icebreaker, filmed the video for her 2016 Eurovision entry in five below freezing weather, while also battling with the flu. The video will feature exotic Norway, shot from a mountain plateau. The video was filmed in Varangerboten, in the municipality of Nessby, way up in northern Norway, which just happens to be Agnete’s hometown.

The video directed by Elle Marja Eira, will make its debut on a NRK TV special on April 2nd at 19:55CET. The 40 minutes special on NRK1 is called Agnete, Star From Nessby. Agnete has also promised to post the video on her official YouTube channel shortly after.
