JESC 2015: Albanian video released, Maltese entry to be presented Monday

The final version of the Albanian entry for Junior Eurovision Song Contest has been released. The song is called Danbaje and is performed by Mishela Rapo. In addition to that, the Maltese entry which will be sung by Destiny Chukunyere will be presented on Monday as TVM revealed.

Final version and video of the Albanian entry Dambaje released

Back in May, Albania was the first country which selected song and artist for the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Mishela Rapo won the Albanian national final with her song Danbaje. Albania chose their represantative through the Festivali 52 i Femijeve, the junior version of their national selection Festivali i Kenges. After her win in the Festivali 52 i Femijeve, Mishela Rapo who is 14 years old gained the right to represent Albania with her song Dambaje at the 2015 Junior Eurovision in Sofia. Dambaje is composed by Adrian Hila with lyrics of Pandi Laço.

Albania will take part at this year’s Junior Eurovision after a two-year absence. The country made its debut at this competition back in 2012, reaching the 12th place which of course is their best so far.

Maltese entry, Not My Soul, to be presented on Monday

Destiny Chukunyere announced yesterday that her song for 2015 Junior Eurovision will be presented on Monday.

Since her victory at the Maltese national final MJESC, Destiny has been working on the composition of her song, along with her teachers Maria Abdilla, Roberta Debono and the well-known composers Elton Zarb and Matt Muxu Merceica. As she revealed, she will sing the song Not My Soul, composed by the same faces behind the Junior Eurovision 2013 winning entry The Start, last year’s JESC Maltese song Diamonds and the Maltese entry at Eurovision 2014 Warrior. Muxu also wrote the lyrics for this year’s theme-song Discover.

A message from Poli Genova, host of the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest

Some days ago BNT, the Bulgarian Broadcaster revealed that Poli Genova who represented the country at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011, will be hosting the junior edition on the 21st of November at Armeec Arena in Sofia. Now Poli sends a video message to all fans of Junior Eurovision Song Contest to attend and watch the event. See the message in the video:
