UK: Rylan would love to do Eurovision!

The popular and also controversial contestant, Rylan Clark, was voted off the X Factor UK at the quarter final stage last weekend.  He has revealed to an English newspaper that his next target is to represent the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest.

Rylan Clark split the public opinions on the X Factor in the United Kingdom.  Some people loved his extravagant performances and others loathed his act.  He had regular critisism from judge and Take That star, Gary Barlow. But his mentor, Nicole Scherzinger, and the other judges Tulisa and Louis Walsh regularly backed Rylan’s performances. His larger than life performances appealed to many as he made it to final five.

Rylan told the Metro newspaper in the UK that his aim now is to perform at the Eurovision Song Contest and fly the flag for his country.  If asked he said he would jump at the chance.

Rylan will also be a part of the X Factor live tour which will start early in the new year.

You can see Rylan’s performances below of a Supremes Motown medley, Spice Girls medley and the song Wires by Athlete.
