Spain has chosen Rodolfo Chikilicuatre’s ‘Baila el chiki chiki’ (dance the chiki chiki). Rodolfo has a comedy programme on La Sexta, a commercial Spainish TV station.
Internet voters picked five of the submitted entries that will take part in last night’s final. Another five songs were picked by an expert jury. Through televoting, the Spanish audience decided who will represent their country in Belgrade. After a three hour long live show, the televoting results collected before the show started were announced. These results counted for 20%. The votes given during the live show counted for 80%.

As one of the Big 4 countries, the largest contributors to the contest, Spain is directly qualified for the Final of the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest, on 24th of May. It is duty-bound to air one of the semi finals and along with Germany it will have to broadcast the first Semi on the 20th May.
