Slovakia Ready for the Final

This evening, Slovakian broadcaster, STV, hosted the fifth and last semifinal. Three more songs took the remaining places available. Two songs were chosen by a public phone vote, and one by a jury.

Eleven songs competed, the unusual number being due to the participation of Desmod & Lucia Nováková . They should have competed in an earlier semi final but had to withdraw after an accident during rehearsals.

Kamil Mikulcík & Nela Pocisková – Let Tmou

After the Slovakian public had cast their votes, the two songs receiving most votes were;

The winner will be the first Slovakian entry to the contest since Katarína Hasprová travelled to Birmingham in 1998.
