Krista Siegfrids might not have succeeded on her mission in Malmö to get a proposal from her beloved, but she’s not letting that stop her. Hot on the heels of her single Marry Me, the singer has revealed her strategy for the coming months.
She may not have got the "I Do" she was after, but both Krista Siegfrids and Team Ding Dong didn’t let that put a dampener on their time in Malmö. Marry Me brought Finland to the final and the single went on to be a smash hit on the national charts, peaking at number six. In addition to success in Finland, her 2013 Eurovision entry has charted in five other territories; Germany, Ireland, Iceland, Sweden and the UK.
Flushed from the success of Marry Me, Krista knows that there’s no time like the present and wastes no time in delivering the follow up single, AMEN! The latest single was released last Friday along with an official music video, which sees the bubbly blonde in search of revenge, having apparently dumped the groom from her last video, and swapping her lace and bridal couture for leather and chains instead. The single has already started to climb on the Finnish YLEX chart.
In conjunction with the release of her debut album Ding Dong!, released on the Universal Music label on the 10th of May.
