Eurovision 2015 hosts presented

The ORF Channel responsible for the organization of Eurovision 2015 announced today the hosts or more specifically the hostess of the upcoming competition in Vienna. Three women with great experience in presentation of big events: Mirjan Weichselbraun, Alice Tumler and Arabella Kiesbauer.

Mirjan Weichselbraun (first from the left in the foto) is one of the most popular show presenters in Austria. She already has presented the MTV European Music Awards and MTV Video Music Awards, as well as major festivals like Rock Am Ring involving 80.000 spectators and the German Film Prize in 2013. She was also the hostess at the Dancing With The Stars and the Vienna Opera Ball. She has been awarded several times with the TV Romy Award.

Alice Tumler (first from right in the foto) speaks five languages. She is originally from Austria and France and has presented several events in Europe. She was also the hostess of live music programmes in ARTE and in the travel documentaries named Thalassa from french television. She also presented the talent show The Great Chance and the start of the Vienna Festival at the City Hall Square. She was also among the hosts of Life Ball.

Arabella Kiesbauer (second from right in the foto) began in 80s from ORF to continue with her own talk show on German television where her presence has effected the entire television landscape. She returned to ORF in 2002 to present the talent show Star Mania. Since 2008 she has been ambassador of social integration at the Ministry of foreign affairs and social inclusion. In 2013 she was honored for her dedication to tolerance against racism with the gold medal of the Austrian Republic.

As we expected, the presentation in Green Room will be done by this year’s Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst. This will however not be her only role as following tradition she will sing in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest.
