Eurovision 2014 day 7: United Kingdom’s first rehearsal

The expectation was high as Molly performed Children Of The Universe at the first set of rehearsals for the United Kingdom at the B & W Hallerne in Copenhagen for the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest.  She gave confident performances in the run throughs today.

Molly took centre stage as went through the first set of rehearsal run throughs. She was dressed casually today in a white top and denim shorts. Her hair was tied up.

Molly was joined on stage by four backing vocalists (three girls and one guy) and there was also a male drummer.

There was a little technical problem with the sound for Molly in the first run through but this was quickly fixed. She gave a very confident vocal performance and she seems to connect with the camera very well.

The stage lighting looked really beautiful with use of blue and black lighting in the background. There were also rising lanterns and dry ice strobe lighting. There was large emblem on the stage. The final run through used pyrotechnics and with shades of the Danish winning stage act of 2013.

Molly can be proud of this promising and confident start for the United Kingdom who can now start thinking of a high placing this year
