Denis Midone Internally Selected to Represent Moldova at the 2012 Junior Eurovision Song Contest

Finally the selection process to pick this year’s Moldovan entry has been internal and TRM has announced that Denis Midone will represent the nation with Toate Vor Fi, which means All Will Be Fine. His song is composed by Marian Stârcea and written by Radmila Popovici-Paraschiv.

Today, Moldova has presented its candidate for the 2012 Junior Eurovision Song Contest and Denis Midone will be the lucky one who will sing in Amsterdam. The six participants were heard by five judges and Denis Midoni achieved the maximum score of 48,5 points when four of the jury members (Georgeta Voinovan, Vlad Mircos, Natali Toma and Adrian Ursu) gave him the highest grade of 10 points plus 8,5 points from Ion Chiorpec.

Denis, who was born in Israel ten years ago, has a long musical career despite his young age. He is a member of the children’s band Do-Re-Micii and he has participated at several music contests having won most of them such as the Ploaia Stelutelor or the International Children Festival Sozopol Panorama held in Bulgaria. He also achieved the third prize at the Festival of San Remo Junior in 2010.

There are two versions of the song, the original in Romanian and another one in English but it is not yet confirmed if, in Amsterdam, we will listen to the song entirely in Romanian or maybe a bilingual version.

Below you can listen to Denis Midone singing his Junior Eurovision entry Toate Vor Fi in its original version and also the English one.
