Can Stella be everything she wants to be?

Sunday morning rehearsals continued with Norway’s Stella Mwangi taking to the stage to set out her stall for a week on Tuesday.  Would this fan favourite come up with the goods?

The one thing we all noticed about Stella Mwangi is that she is always smiling, and she put in a very confident rehearsal.  Unusually for a first rehearsal, Stella and her backing singers all performed in costume,  Expect to see her in a short gold dress on the night, with her backing singers – two boys, three girls – in red.

The choreography is very polished with lots of arm waving, and we even get the customary pyros and confetti at the end.  The back drop is very onubtrusive and consists of ever-changing geometric shapes with African overtones.  All in all, it was very well received by the scattering of spectators.

Haba haba may not earn Norway another victory, but on the performance this morning it’s breezing its way to the Saturday night final.
