Australian Idol, Natalie Gauci, would love to do Eurovision

Natalie Gauci won Australian Idol in 2007.  She has told EuroVisionary that she would like to sing at the Eurovision Song Contest.  Natalie’s father is Maltese but she would consider representing not just Malta but another country if the right circumstances arose.

In 2007 Natalie Gauci successfully auditioned for Australian Idol and went on to win the contest.  She performed many great version of songs such as Man In The Mirror, Umbrella and I Will Survive.  Her winners song, Here I Am, went on to reach number 2 in the Australian charts.  Her album, The Winners Journey, gained Platinum status.

Natalie changed her musical direction in 2010 and became the lead singer of an electro-pop band, Tune In Tokyo.

Now she has come to Europe to develop her sound and release a new album.  She will base herself in Germany but work in places such as Spain, Italy and United Kingdom.

After winning Australian Idol, Natalie was invited to Malta to perform at the interval in the national final in 2008.  She even got to sing a duet with Chiara and their unique version of Angel.

Natalie would definitely consider Eurovision if the right song and opportunity came along.

She has just released a new song, Best Of Me, from the new movie, Big Mamma’s Boys, featuring Australian actress and former singer, Holly Valance.

You can see Natalie perform Best Of Me, her duet with Chiara.
