Anti Social Media lands record deal

Two months before representing Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Anti Social Media just signed a record deal. An EP is on the way and on Friday they start their Denmark tour. The coming future looks promising for the young Danish band.

Anti Social Media won the Danish final, Melodi Grand Prix, with the Beatles inspired song The Way You Are, on the 7th of February. They will represent Denmark at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria in May, and in the middle of the preparations the band just landed a record deal. Anti Social Media just signed a record deal with RE:A:CH who are specialised in development of talents:

"…is a boutique and dynamic artist development agency perched at the cutting edge of the music industry. …is Denmark’s fastest growing 360° artist development agency. …discovers diamonds in the rough and polishes them into the stars of tomorrow…".

RE:A:CH is owned by Reme and Chief 1 who are also the songwriters behind The Way You Are.

The near future for Anti Social Media includes a tour which will start Friday the 20th of March and the release of an EP, and of course the participation at the Eurovision Song Contest where they will compete in the first semi-final on the 19th of May in the hope to qualify for the final four days later.

Below you can see our interview with the band conducted shortly after their victory in the Danish final. The interview includes a quick spontaneously sung Danish version of their entry.
