2 songs out of Romanian Final

With the Romanian final due to be held this coming Staurday there is a change in the line-up. Two of the songs that were due to take part have been withdrawn from the competition.

Catalin Josan was the only contestant from Romania’s National Selection that qualified with two songs for the final (‘Run away’ and ‘When we’re together’ ). After the second semifinal Catalin decided to withdraw the song ‘When we’re together’ and only go to the final with the song ‘Run away’. The song was replaced by Rednex and Ro-mania with the song "RailRoad, RailRoad".

The second withdrawl from the final is the song of VH2, ‘Follow me’, because of some acusations of plagiarism. An anonymous source informed TVR that this song is similar to a song of his created 10 years ago.  Because of this, the song ‘Fight for life’ sung by Nico had to replace ‘Follow me’, but she already said that she will sing only "Pe o margine de lume " with Vlad Mirita. So, after all that the VH2 will be replaced by New Effect feat Gentiana with the song ‘Zamira’.
