Eurovision 2015: F.Y.R. Macedonia’s second rehearsal

F.Y.R. Macedonia will be performing 9th in the upcoming First Semi Final this Tuesday. The country is represented by Daniel Kajmakoski with the song Autumn Leaves. Are there any changes since the country’s first rehearsal? What is the impression left by the song amongst the other entries in the running order? We try to answer your questions reporting live from inside the hall of Wiener Stadthalle.

There were a few notes out of tune from Daniel today. His voice sounds a bit strained. During the second run, the choreography is ditched and instead Daniel concentrates on his vocal performance. He is also over-perspiring and his forehead looks all shiny. During F.Y.R. Macedonia’s first rehearsal, I thought that his perspiration was down to his coat being too warm; however, listening to him today I wonder whether he is not feeling well. He bravely carries on with his performance trying to give his best self but something is not working for him today. You can still tell that he is a charismatic performer however and that he, as well as the stage, look great on the screen.

If predictions prove correct, Estonia will be a hard act to follow for F.Y.R. Macedonia. I personally like the song and would like to see it going through to the final but I will reserve judgement until I see it performed again during the dress rehearsals.

F.Y.R. Macedonia has been in a semi final eleven times and managed to make it through to the final on five of these occasions.
