In the 2008 Hungarian final Adrien Szekeres won the jury voting, but the public prefered Csézy. This song ended up in 2nd place.

Ann-Mari Andersen in the first of the three Norwegian pre selection heats. She qualified directly for the final and was seen as one of the favourites to win it, but she didn't manage to end up among the best 4 in the final.

This is Kendra Lou at the 2008 Dansk Melodi Grand Prix. Kendra didn't manage to qualify directly through the second semi-final, but got a second chance on a wildcard. In the final she ended in a tied 4th position.

Sanna Nielsen came 5th in the swedish final, Melodifestival, 2003 with this song.

Lecia came second in the Danish final in 1989 with this song, Landet Camelot. She is well known in Denmark as a member of the '80's duo Laban.

Måns came third in the Swedish final, Melodifestival, in 2007 with this song Cara Mia. He didn't go to Eurovision - but managed to get a big hit on the charts in his home country.
