Eurovision Classics

Denmarks first victory in the Eurovision Song Contest from 1963. Denmark decided not to participate from 1966- 1978. They won again in 2000.

Belgium won the 1986 Eurovision Song Contest with this song. Afterwards there was a lot of fuss about her young age, 13.  

Serafín represented Spain twice. The 1rst time in 1992 he came 14th. With his " Todo esto es la musíca" he won the first National Final when the Spanish TVE organised years later again a preselection. The 2nd time in 2000 (again in Sweden) he came 18th.

Tajči came 7th when she, on homefield, represented the country Yugoslavia in 1990. This song is in Croatian.

Cliff Richard represented the United Kingdom in both 1968 and 1973. This, his first participation, came second - 5 years later he ended third.

Fabrizio represented Malta in both 2001 and 2006. This song, Another Summer Night came 9th - 5 years later he came last! This is the music video made for the song.

Liam Reilly was close to winning, but came second in the 1990 Eurovision Song Contest. This is the preview performance.

F.L.Y. only managed to score 5 points in the 2003 Eurovision Song Contest held on homefield. With 5 points they ended 24th out of 26 participating countries.

Umberto Tozzi & Raf came third for italy in 1987 with Gente de mare. They were beaten by Johnny Logan from Ireland and the German group Wind.

Feminnem represented Bosnia & Herzegovina in 2005 with their plea for someone to call them.
