2008 eurovision

Jeronimas Milius is normally the lead singer in a heavy metal band so for some he was a surprisingly choise to sing the opera kind song Nomads in the Night that represented Lithuania at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest.

Simon Mathew won a bit unexpectly the Danish final, but having previously won both a musical talent show and a dancing program maybe we shouldn't be surprised if he does well in Belgrade as well with the song called All Night Long.

Tereza Kerndlová will be representing her country with the song Have Some Fun. She is an experienced singer, first as a part of a group and the last 3 years being solo.

Ruslan Alehno became famous after winning the local edition of Pop Idol and in 2008 it brought him to Belgrade with the song called Hasta la Vista. He didn't manage to qualify for the Eurovision Song Contest final. 

Olta Boka won the Albanian national final called Festivali I Këngës and represented the country with the song Zemrën lamë peng at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest.

Rebeka Dremelj won the 2008 Slovenian final, EMA, and will represent the country with the song called Vrag naj vzame.

Kreisiraadio is a well known comedy act who has been around since 1993. They will be representing Estonia with the song Leto Svet which is being sung in Serbian, German and Finnish.

Gisela has been chosen to represent Andorra in the 2008 Eurovision Song contest with the song called Casanova which will be sung in a mix of English and Catalan.

Evdokia Kadi will be representing Cyprus at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest with the song Femme Fatale.

Paolo Meneguzzi will be representing Switzerland with the song Era Stupendo in Belgrade. He has been chosen internal and didn't have to go through any national final. It is the first time since 2000 that Switzerland participates with a song in Italian.
