Dutch broadcaster TROS has revealed that their entry for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest will be written by their well known composer Pierre Kartner, who also wrote their 1973 entry. A national selection will take place on 31st of January and 7th of February.
Cliff Richard should have participated in Celebrity Big Brother that starts in January. He had first been promised a private bathroom without cameras, but as the producers couldn’t live up to that he cancelled his participation.
The veteran presenter Terry Wogan, who has worked for BBC television, is retiring from the Eurovision Song Contest after 35 successful years. Terry Wogan is well known for his sarcastic comments while presenting Eurovision Song Contests on BBC1.
Cliff Richard is one of the best selling artists in Europe, he has had a big career all over the world and was knighted by the Queen in 1995, but never managed to win the Eurovision Song Contest, despite his two entries being among the most loved and played songs from the Contest.
The Olsen Brothers and Cliff Richard will meet in the studio in September to record the song Walk Right Back that was used as opening song for the 2001 Eurovision Song Contest.
