The film Mamma Mia based on ABBA’s music has recently beaten Harry Potter in being the biggest film success in United Kingdom. It is now close to reaching Titanic’s record as the worldwide film with the biggest commercial success ever in Great Britain.

After the premiere of the film version of the musical Mamma Mia ABBA is back on the charts. Not only is the soundtrack a best seller, but also ABBA’s greatest hits album, Gold, that includes the original ABBA songs is once again selling well around Europe.

A few days ago three of the four ABBA members turned up for the premiere held in London. Friday evening it was Stockholm’s turn and this time Agnetha Fältskog made ABBA complete by her appearance. It was the first time in 22 years that they were all seen together in public.

Monday evening the film version of Mamma Mia was premiered on Leicester Square in London. Three out of the four ABBA stars turned up, only Agnetha Fältskog didn’t show up for the premiere of the film that features Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan.

During the last couple of day’s two former Eurovision Song Contest winners, Charlotte Perrelli and Richard Herrey, both from Sweden have announced that they are separating from their partners with a possible divorce to follow.
