Romanian Television (TVR) has announced the start of Eurovision 2010 National Selection. The whole project is coordinated by Ms. Mariana Almasan - Socaciu, who is committed to selecting for Oslo the best song performed by the best voice.

EuroVisionary interviews 2009 Romania Junior Eurovision singer, Ioana Bianca Anuta. Ioana will sing Ai Puterea In Mana Ta (You Have The Power In Your Hand) at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev on 23 November 2009.

On Friday night at 23:00 (Moscow time), Elena Gheorghe, the Romanian representative at Eurovision 2009, will participate in a special TV show organised by Channel One Television. The show will be transmitted live from Ostankino TV Center Studios.

Immediately after she won the big Final in Romania, Elena Gheorghe and her team were prepared for intense rehearsals for the Moscow choreography and for The Balkan Girls video. Together with the TVR and CAT Music Production, they filmed the video for her song, The Balkan Girls.

Yesterday, the jury appointed by the Romanian Broadcaster (TVR) selected 24 songs from 214 songs submitted to compete in a semi final. As expected Nico from represented the country at last year's Eurovision Song Contest is back to try again.    

The deadline to submit songs for the 2009 Romanian national final has expired. Now a jury should select 24 acts that will compete to represent the country in Moscow. There is just one problem though as how do one choose 24 songs if only 5 was received?

Luminita Anghel , the Romanian representative at the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest has decided to start her political career in Romania. Some weeks ago, Luminita Anghel made public her intention to run for the Romanian Parliament.
