Stockholm has Allsång På Skansen and Gothenburg has Lotta På Liseberg. In Sweden they like sing a long programmes and all through the summer plenty of well known names will join Lotta Engberg in the amusement park Liseberg in Gothenburg.
Tonight Sweden held it's Second chance heat which is the last heat before the final in Globen on the 10th of March. This was a new chance for the 3rd and 4th placed songs from the four previous heats to qualify to the final.
This week's semi final were a battle between several of Sweden's most loved artists but only two of them could go through to the final. The lucky one's getting the desirable spots in the final were Lisa Miskovsky and Danny. Christer Sjögren and Lotta Engberg and Dynazty will have a new chance to qualify in next week's second chance heat.

On February 4th the first Swedish semi final kicks off with debutant Sean Banan. The honour of closing the fourth semi final is veteran Danny Saucedo. This year, 14 of the 32 songs have Swedish lyrics which is an unusually high number.
The full starting field of Melodifestivalen 2012 came clear today when swedish broadcaster SVT announced the final 16 acts at a press conference this morning. Fans of Melodifestivalen will discover several familiar names and amongst these the one perhaps shining brightest is the Eurovision winner Charlotte Perrelli.
The program for SVT’s popular series of open air sing along concerts offers many familiar names in the 2008 edition, where Arja Saijonmaa, Sanna Nielsen, BWO, Christer Sjögren and Maria Haukaas Storeng are among the many who will be performing at Skansen during the summer.
Most of the ten finalists from the Swedish selection will have a busy summer. Many of them have recently released a new album or are about to and the summer will bring concerts in Sweden as well as in Europe.
