Mr. Grand Prix Keld Heick has released a solo album with cover versions of rather unknown Rock’n’roll songs from the 1950’s and ‘60’s. For his fans this is very different from the schlager style they are use to, but for Keld it is going back to his roots where he started 50 years ago.

The Danish album top40 includes several Eurovision Song Contest connections.

In relation to his newly operation Gerald Joling has received many greetings and encouragements from his fans. To show his appreciation he wants to invite six of them over for coffee. Via his website everyone can participate and the six lucky winners will be picked from a draw.

Dutch pop star Gerard Joling, who represented the Netherlands in the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest, has been through an emergency operation that delayed the presentation of his new album and a part in a film. He is in recovery now and the new album is ready to hit the stores as well as the charts.

1988 Eurovision co-host Pat Kenny has been involved in a high court case for the last week.  The case was taken by Kenny's neighbour of 20 years, Gerard Charlton, who was seeking the court to ratify his ownership of a 0.2 acre patch of land beside Mr. Kenny's house.
