The official album with all ten participating songs from the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2013 is once again a well selling album. The same is the recently released debut album from A Friend In London. Three of the singles from the national final went straight into the charts as well.
Last night Denmark kicked off for its third season of Masterchef. We will see two former Dansk Melodi Grand Prix participants trying to prove that they got what it takes in a kitchen. Against their opponents we also find a former national final host and a jury member.
Last year Danish broadcaster, DR, had to disqualify an entry shortly before the national final - and now there is problems again. Kate Hall's entry to the Danish final have been available for download since 2011 and as such would have faced disqualification had it won.
Saturday evening the Danish TV viewers picked Emmelie de Forest to represent their country at this year's Eurovision Song Contest. The contest has always been popular in Denmark and this year was no exception where the contest was seen by the highest number of viewers since 2010.
EuroVisionary caught up with Emmelie de Forest shortly after her victory in last night's Danish final. The TV viewers had just awarded her and her song Only Teardrops with the honour of representing Denmark at this year's Eurovision Song Contest in May.
Minutes ago Denmark picked its participant for this year's Eurovision Song Contest. In a national final of high level it was difficult for the jury and the TV viewers to decide, but at the end Emmelie de Forest was awarded the winner of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix.
