Just like the eulogy at a funeral Dustin gave Terry a good send off with his masterful use of the English language.  He also took a little time to assure the bosses at the BBC that he was more than ready to take he reigns from the Limerick man.

As we reported a couple of weeks ago the Irish Eurovision commentator, Marty Whelan, is in the race to become RTE's celebrity Bainisteoir (Manager) of 2008.

Several days ago we reported that Dustin has entered the Irish chart at #5.  This result was from a mixture of physical and download sales.

Dustin was continuing his promotion of the 2008 Irish Eurovision Song Contest entry today. He talked with Derek Mooney on Ireland's national radio station RTE Radio 1 this afternoon.

The Walkers Sensations TV Now Awards '08 took place on Saturday night in the Mansion House in Dublin.  Dustin was on hand to present the award for best newscaster of the year.

Rarely before has there been such interest in the Irish Eurovision entry. This year the Irish public are being given the chance to have Dustin's infamous song as their very own ringtone.

The name Macedonia is a very troublesome one indeed and yet again the affect of the dispute is being felt in the Eurovision Song Contest.  The lyrics of Ireland's 2008 entry dared to include Macedonia in a list of countries that Dustin claims to love.
