Turkish representative Hadise will meet her fans to present her new album for the first time at the Sapphire Club in Istanbul. This will be the first performance since she agreed to represent Turkey in the Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow, 2009.

The Turkish participiant of 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, Hadise, has offically signed with TRT today. Before the offical ceremony Hadise and TRT's boss İbrahim Şahin already announced their plans for the Eurovision Song Contest which will be held in Moscow in 2009.

The Turkish National Broadcaster, TRT, has confirmed that Hadise will be in charge of the Turkish Eurovision Song Contest entry. She also has the responsibility of the song style and in which language it is to be sung. She also will be able to choose the composer and lyricist on her own.

TRT the Turkish broadcaster had a poll about who should represent them at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest. According to this poll female singer Hadise has been chosen. According to Hadise she has rejected a Belgian offer to represent them, but is pleased to be do it for Turkey.

The European Broadcasting Union's Turkish member TRT (Turkish Radio and Television Corparation) has opened a poll, the type of which has never been tried by any EBU member before. Turkey's participiant for Eurovision Song Contest 2009 will be chosen through the poll result.

Superstar Sibel Tüzün, the representative of Turkey in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006, couldn't wait for her album to be released and she released a single which contains songs from the album which will be in music stores this autumn.

İstanbul, the biggest city of Turkey, will have big preperations for the marathon "HumanRace", which will be running in 25 cities from all over the world. The biggest prize will be a Kenan Doğulu concert for more than 50.000 people at the end of the race.

The music festival called Çeşme International Song Contest has started in Izmir, Turkey. This year is the 19th time the contest has been held in Turkey. Many popular singers and groups will perform on stage seperate from the contest. Among those are Ani Lorak and Ajda Pekkan.

Sertab Erener decided to join a very big concert organization called 'Fanta Gençlik Festival' after she had released her latest album named 'Sertab Goes to Club' at the begining of 2008. She will be remembered as winner of Eurovision 2003 in Riga.
