Poor Kikki Danielsson. In recent years her career has been overshadowed by her turbulent private life. The troubled star seemed to be getting back on track again with a triumphant comeback last summer. Judging by the latest shocking news, Danielsson is on a downer once more.

After the success in the Swedish pre selection Melodifestivalen and Eurovision Song Contest, Loreen releases her much longed for debut album today titled Heal. She gives you 12 songs - of course including her 2012 Eurovision winner Euphoria.

Minutes ago SVT revealed, during a press conference, that the hosts for next year's Swedish final, Melodifestivalen, will be Gina Dirawi and Danny Saucedo. Gina will thereby be doing this twice in a row where as it is new for Danny, who is a former participant.

Unknown artist Elin Petersson was the clear winner of the jury with her entry Island, sweeping all competition aside. She was therefore awarded the second spot in the line up for next year's Melodifestivalen, joining Terese Fredenwall, winner of the Svensktoppen Nästa comptetition.

Today SVT presented some of their thoughts and ideas about the coming Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö. There are plans to renew the contests by promoting the values of the human rights, create more interest for the event and going back to using one host only during the show.

Melodifestivaklubben OGAE Sweden held its annual convention outside the town of Eskilstuna on Saturday the 13th of October. The 120+ crowd got a chance to see and meet up with the first Eurovision winner Lys Assia and the former ESC entrants Sinpus, Joan Franka, Birgitta Haukdal, Esther Hart and also a handful of former participants from Melodifestivalen.

The Euphoria continues as Swedish broadcaster and host of next year's Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö have just made an announcement concerning one of the most eagerly anticipated events of the year for many Eurovision fans - tickets for the Swedish selection Melodifestivalen will go on sale from the 25th of October.

Prior to the release of Loreen's debut album Heal on the 24th of October, the Swedish songstress releases not one, but two singles simultaneously, making her fans undoubtedly even more euphoric.
