The national final to pick the Spanish song for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest took place tonight where three songs were competing for the win. After a very entertaining show, the decision was made by a mixed system of televoting and jurors and Contigo Hasta El Final was their choice.

Among the expert jury will partly decide the Spanish song for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest we find the recent winner of Sanremo and Rosa López, who represented Spain in 2002 is also among the jurors. On the guest list there are also known faces such as last year's Spanish entrant Pastora Soler.

RTVE's site visitors have decided with their votes that Atrévete will be the third song for El Sueño de Morfeo to sing at the national final scheduled to be held on the 26th of February. It joins the previously selected songs whose titles are Contigo Hasta El Final and Dame Tu Voz.

The final will be held on 26th of February where a jury and the audience will choose this year's Spanish entry for the Eurovision Song Contest. El Sueño de Morfeo will perform three songs of which two of them have already been chosen, but the third one will be picked among two candidates by online voting.

Denmark in semi-final one, Norway in semi-final two. That we already knew, but what about the remaining countries? Today the so-called allocation draw, which decides in which semi-final the various participating countries will perform, was held today.

The band led by Raquel del Rosario has been internally selected to represent Spain in Malmö. The official announcement was made this evening at the TVE programme called + Gente where the three members of the group said that they are very excited about this challenge and they are working on the songs.

After two months of qualifying rounds at the first season of The Voice (La Voz) in Spain, the four best voices that will compete in the final has now been chosen. Jorge González, who participated at the 2009 national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, is one of them.

TVE wants to bet again for a seasoned singer with an established career.  Today it has been confirmed that the artist who will fly the Spanish flag in Malmö will be chosen through an internal selection by the same formula that provided a big success to the country last year with Pastora Soler.

Pastora Soler and Doris Dragovic will be the special guests at a Christmas concert tour in Croatia. They were invited by the tenor Ivo Gamulin Gianni to share the stage with him at these charity shows that takes place in Split, Zagreb and Osijej on the 14th, 16th and 20th of December respectively.

The composer, producer and performer Juan Carlos Calderón died yesterday in Madrid after suffering a heart failure at the age of 74. He was the author of four of the Spanish entries at the Eurovision Song Contest in the 70s and 80s; Eres Tú, Tú Volverás, La Fiesta Terminó and Nacida Para Amar.
