The Moldovan national broadcaster TRM, has held the country's national final,  O Melodie Pentru Europa, to choose its representative for the Eurovision Song Contest. At the end of the night Sun Stroke Project & Olia Tira took the ticket for Oslo.

The second semi final of Moldova Eurovision National final called "A song for Europe" has just ended. 15 songs competed in order to reach the final on Saturday. Seven of them went through along with the other seven songs that were selected last night in the first semifinal.

Yesterday in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova, the first semi final of Moldovan Eurovision selection called "O Melodie Pentru Europa" (A song for Europe) was held. Sevn songs qualified for the final on March 6th.

Names for Moldovan Selection & Second Chance revealed

One of the participants at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010, Moldova, has chosen the names who will take part at Moldovan national selections. National broadcaster, TRM, is also organising a ‘second chance’ contest.

39 countries to participate in Oslo - three countries less than last year

EBU has just announced that a total number of 39 countries will participate at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo in May. Hungary, Czech Republic and Montenegro do not wish to take part while no new countries will be joining or rejoining the Contest.

Moldova has confirmed its participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo, Norway, adding another country to the list.

As promised a couple of days ago, the European Broadcasting Union has released the complete results from this year’s contest. This means that we can now see how the public voted, and how the juries voted.
