Today EBU and the 2014 host broadcaster, DR, announced the running order for the two semi-finals that will take place on the 6th and 8th of May. Armenia opens semi-final 1, while Malta will have the honour of kicking the second one off. Hungary and Romania closes each of their semi-finals.

The four songs of Eurosong 2014 - a MAD show, the Greek selection for the 59th Eurovision Song Contest, were presented earlier today. A hip hop track, a pop duet, a ballad and song with folk Balcan influences will compete for the chance to represent Greece in Copenhagen this May.
It has been rumoured for some time that the date of the Greek selection for Eurovision 2014 had moved to 11th March. Despite no official announcement on the website of the Greek national broadcaster, TV listings sent to the press include an entry for the Greek national final on Tuesday 11th March at 21:00 local time (20:00 CET).
It appears that the Greek national will go ahead after all. According to the latest reports, the event will be called 'Eurosong 2014 - a MAD show' and four acts were leaked as its line-up. After fears to the contrary, Greek participation in Eurovision 2014 now looks secure!
The way things are at the moment, it seems that Tuesday 4th March appears to be the provisional date for the Greek national final. However, according to reports today, Greek participation in the 59th Eurovision Song Contest remains anything but secure; this is because a proper replacement for former state broadcaster ERT is still not in place.
Today the traditional allocation draw was held in order to determine which countries will compete in which semi-final. In other words: It is time to start analysing and guessing on who will in the end qualify for the final and who might not make it.
On Monday, the 20th of January the allocation draw for Eurovision 2014 will take place. A live broadcast will happen directly from Copenhagen's town hall. Six pots for the two semi-finals have been announced.
