The fifth day of rehearsals saw most of the countries participating in the first semi-final rehearse for the second time. The day started in the Balkans with Montenegro and ended, well, in the Balkans with Bosnia.

Sietse Bakker from Eurovision.tv recently got promoted as Manager of Communications & Public Relations for the Eurovision Family of Events at the EBU. EuroVisionary has talked to him about his new responsibility, the upcoming Contest and a bit about his private life as well.

Kreisiraadio - Leto svet

Kreisiraadio is a well known comedy act who has been around since 1993. They will be representing Estonia with the song Leto Svet which is being sung in Serbian, German and Finnish.

Suntribe represented Estonia at the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest. The song didn't manage to qualify for the final. The band doesn't exist anymore, but several band members went solo afterwards.

Mari-Leen Kaselaan – ”Eurovision must be seen live”

EuroVisionary have talked to Mari-Leen Kaselaan who took part in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005 as a part of the Estonian band Suntribe. Shortly after she went solo and is now among the best selling artists in her country – and who knows, one day she might be back on the Eurovision stage.

After failing to qualify for the final since the semi-finals were introduced, Estonia have chosen what could be described as a ‘nonsense’ song to keep their hopes alive until the end of Eurovision week for the first time since 2003.

10 songs will battle it out to win the Estonian ticket. 3 songs will make it though to a suer final after the first round of voting. The televoting will reopen and one of the three will be chosen as the winner.
