The participants have arrived to Cyprus and just like at the Eurovision Song Contest it means that it is time for final rehearsals to start. The official welcome party kicks off tonight and with the theme Fun in the sun everyone should have a great time on the Island where winter seems far away.

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest comes closer to rock Lemasos. The order in which the 15 songs will participate has been decided and Romania gets the challenge of opening the event.

In August, Eurovisionary.com brought you news of Marlain’s participation in the Pan Music Festistival, held in Pancevo, Serbia on 29th and 30th August, where she represented Greece. The singer, who represented Cyprus in Jerusalem in the 1999 Eurovision Song Contest, romped to victory.

The city of Pancevo, Serbia, will host the 2nd International Pop Music Festival “Pan Music” on the 29th and 30th of August. Marlain will represent Greece with her song Rejection!

A huge surprise awaited the fans who showed up for James Blunt's concert in Limassol, the host city of JESC 2008. Anna Vissi who has represented both Cyprus and Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest joined him on stage. Speculations about a future collaboration has started.
