Elitsa & Stoyan have had to change their entry for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest. The song that won the Bulgarian national selection, Kismet, has been withdrawn due to a copyright issue. It is replaced with the runner up song, Samo Shampioni, and this will now be the song to represent Bulgaria in Malmö.
Tonight Bulgaria chose their song for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö. The Bulgarian broadcaster BNT nominated the duo Elitsa & Stoyan internally. They already represented Bulgaria in 2007 and reached the country's best ranking. They will try to repeat their success in Malmö, this time with their song Kismet.
Today Elitsa and Stoyan presented the three songs shortlisted by the broadcaster BNT that will take part in the song selection show scheduled to take place on the 3rd of March where it will be decided, which one of them is the Bulgarian Eurovision entry for 2013.
Today, it has been announced that Elitsa Todorova and Stoyan Yankulov will fly the Bulgarian flag once again. They are the most successful act in the Bulgarian Eurovision history reaching the 5th place in 2007, being the only Bulgarian representatives that ever made it to the final.
