Belgian Eurovision Song Contest winner is starring in a new episode of a docu soap TV advert for the washing powder Dash. Her winning song is being changed from J’aime la vie to J’aime le blanc with blanc being the French word for white.

Football beats Kate Ryan, Perrelli, Maria, Kalomira and Tellier on Swedish charts.

2008 Melodifestival participants are still well represented on the Swedish single top 60 where several names from the Eurovision Song Contest now have entered as well. Kate Ryan, who represented Belgium in 2006, is this week ranked higher than any of them though all are beaten by football songs!

The fifth day of rehearsals saw most of the countries participating in the first semi-final rehearse for the second time. The day started in the Balkans with Montenegro and ended, well, in the Balkans with Bosnia.

It is quite common that the participants performs a bit at their press conferences. Some present their own entry, maybe in another version while others gives the audience a taste of what else they have to offer.

Every day, Eurovisionary will be bringing you a summary of all the press conferences held by each delegation soon after they have rehearsed. Today was the first day of rehearsals and Montenegro had the honour of getting things underway.

Kate Ryan ready to release 4th album

Kate Ryan, who represented Belgium at the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest, has just finished her fourth album that is due to be released shortly before this year’s Contest in May. Until that she has chosen to escape from snowy Europe!
