News of an exciting recording collaboration in Sweden comes as an early Christmas present for fans of both Melodifestivalen and the Eurovision Song Contest, as the duet is made up of none other than contest veteran Tommy Körberg and hot property Danny Saucedo.

Is Strictly Come Dancing a dancing programme or is it an entertainment programme? That is up to discussion after Kaya Brüel and her dancing partner Steen Lund was voted out of the Danish edition. He is now so angry that he has decided never to participate again and is supported by other professional dancers. 

Martina Avramoska participated in the 2010 FYR Macedonian Junior Eurovision selection with the song, Zapajte.  She has now won first prize at the Open Europe festival in Moscow. She performed two songs from former Eurovision singers, Jelena Tomasevic (Serbia 2008) and Elena Risteska (FYR Macedonia 2006).

2010 Danish national finalist Kaya Brüel has so far survived 5 couples being voted out of Vild Med Dans 2011, the danish edition of Strictly Come Dancing, but nerves are high for Friday where she won't be able to dance live and risk being kicked out while she is in Germany for a theatre performance. 

After having been in the Swedish final twice, but never made it to the Eurovision Song Contest, Peter Jöback will in a couple of weeks be releasing an album with Swedish versions of French classics. As an extra bonus the album contains three new song written in the same style. A signed edition can be preordered now.

Felix Smith, one of DR's most popular hosts has decided to change jobs. He has been hosting the Danish national final for the past three years and previously said that he will continue with this up until he got to host the Eurovision Song Contest, but with the announcement today that is unlikely to happen.

Multilingual former Swiss representative Michael Von Der Heide is perhaps one of the most versatile artists to emerge from the alpine nation. Following his humiliation at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest with Il Pleut De L'Or, the singer was apparently left devastated. Silence followed. A long silence, but now he's back!

Young Lena-Meyer Landrut has been laughing all the way to the bank since her victory at last year's Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo and her decision to defend her title on home turf this year in Düsseldorf. But have things started to go sour for the darling of German showbiz?

With Witloof Bay failing to qualify for this year's grand final by one measly point, Belgium is looking to shake off their disappointment and improve their result in the junior version of the song contest instead, and have drafted in help in the form of golden boy Tom Dice.
