The first Romanian semi final went off without to much fuss tonight. It was a long show, but they managed to get there in the end and chose six songs for the final.
After choosing the first 5 finalists last week, this evening Latvia selected the final 5 songs to battle it out in the final on March 1st. It was not obvious which songs would go through and which would be eliminated.
After 3 semi-finals and a second chance round, Norway was finally ready to choose its song for the 2008 contest. Eighteen songs were reduced to 6 for tonight’s final.
