The first round of rehearsals finished, today, it was time for the first 13 acts of the first semi-final to rehearse for the final time before the first run through of the semi-final itself on Monday. After each performer had come off stage, they held another press conference.
Dainu Daina was the name of the game this time in Lithuania. 10 songs competed to represent the country at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest. Sasha Son won with the song Pasiklydes Zmogus. Time will tell if we will see an English version being made for the contest in Moscow.
After two songs were disqualified for plagiarism, seven songs from the original line up were supplemented by 2 replacements to vie for the remaining five places in next week’s final. They were joined by a wild card act, chosen by LRT.
