Two former Eurovision participants from each their part of Europe have joined forces on a new EP. Under the title Two Divas Icelandic Hera Björk and Maltese Chiara have released 5 songs, one of them being a duet of Dolly Parton's classic 9 to 5.
Last night Hera Björk won what can be considered the South American equivalent to the Eurovision Song Contest. From the stage in Chile she convincingly sang Because You Can to victory. The song is written by well known Danish and Swedish Eurovision and national final songwriters.

Tonight, Iceland decided its representative for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. Seven acts competed in Söngvakeppni Sjónvarpsins and Jónsi and Greta Salóme won the Icelandic ticket to Baku. Former Eurovision participants Páll Óskar and Hera Björk performed as special guests during the show.
A Norwegian Eurovision website is claiming that Icelandic broadcaster RÚV have changed their minds and are now intent on keeping the same format for their national selection, Söngvakeppni Sjónvarpsins as used in previous years.
