After many weeks of speculation and rumour, the BBC has now confirmed one of the most badly kept secrets of the 2010 finals season. The United Kingdom will choose it’s singer on Friday March 12th.

Take That, Europe!

This year, the BBC showed Europe that actually, they and the United Kingdom do take the Eurovision Song Contest seriously. They persuaded Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, possibly the biggest name in musical theatre, to write the song and head a talent search for the winner.

After a little chock yesterday where Sakis Rouvas collapsed during rehearsals Greece continues the preparations for the big show tonight where a combination of jury and televoting will decide which song Sakis will sing in Moscow. You are invited to be a part of the international jury.

The songs so far...

Although we still have fourteen weeks to go, thirteen entries have been announced so far. I can't believe how quickly they were announced, but it seems an exciting contest is coming.
