John Hatting

Today friends and family were able to say a last goodbye to the triple Eurovision participant John Hatting who passed away only 64 years old. After his death stories about a man for whom life wasn't easy has been told and even the plan for his funeral turned out to be complicated.

It came as a surprise to everyone when Denmark's three times Eurovision Song Contest participant, John Hatting recently passed away at the age of just 64, just as he appeared well two days earlier. An autopsy today revealed the cause of death to be cardiac arrest. 

Today the Danes woke up to the news about their former Eurovision Song Contest participant John Hatting having passed away, only 64 years old. John represented Denmark in 1982 and 1986, and again in 1990 as a composer. Besides that, he also took part in the national final three more times.

Lonnie (Devantier) Kjer represented Denmark at the 1990 Eurovision Song Contest. Songwriters, her record company and her manager were fighting and the 17 year old girl was scared away. 18 years later she is stronger, more mature and ready with an album in the soft rock style she likes the most.

Having been beaten by Kirsten and Søren's gimicks two years in row Lise Haavik was happy when she won the ticket to represent Denmark at the 1986 Eurovision Song Contest. Lise is still active as singer who sings pop as well as jazz - and then she has found a call teaching in singing.
