Heart throb Andreas Lundstedt could do no wrong. He seemed to have it all - a successful solo career, followed by even greater popularity with the supergroup Alcazar. Things soon turned sour however, with his life hit by a series of personal tragedies. Lundstedt lifts the lid on his life, warts and all, in his autobiography released last week.
Superstar Lotta Engberg, who represented Sweden in 1987 with Boogaloo, is in increasingly deep water due to allegations of serious tax fraud. Investigations of the singer were apparently launched back in May 2010. If found guilty, the popular artist could face a stretch inside of up to six years.

As usual several participants from Melodifestivalen and the Eurovision Song Contest are to found as guests in one of Sweden’s most popular TV programs. The 2009 season of Allsång på Skansen, which is also the 30th year anniversary, includes four Eurovision Song Contest participants, two of them winners and many Melodifestivalen acts.
This Saturday 6th June, the Swedes will be celebrating their national holiday. There will be various activities from all over Sweden broadcast on SVT, activities such as performances of former participants from Melodifestivalen. There will also be a soccer game where Sweden meets their neighbour Denmark on Saturday night.
Melodifestival veteran Magnus Carlsson, former member of success bands like Alcazar and Barbados, have collected 40 of his biggest hits on a double CD to be released in a few weeks. The album includes all of his seven Melodifestival entries from 2000 to 2007.
