Today the new album from Swedish pop star and former Eurovision participant Jill Johnson is being released. It consists of 15 duets, all with well known established names, of which many are familiar names to followers of the Eurovision Song Contest and Melodifestivalen.
Last year's Eurovision Song Contest winner Euphoria by Loreen sold well in Denmark. So well that it ended up being the 7th best selling song of the year in the country that went on to winning this year's contest. Some compilation albums from previous Eurovision participants also sold well.
Sanne Salomonsen might suffer some flashback in the coming months as she will now be starring in the musical Hair - something she also did in 1971. Back then it started her career... we can only hope that it won't be a ring closing that fantastic career now she is back. The play will also feature Tim Schou from A Friend In London.
The last two Danish Eurovision Song Contest participants are among the group of artists who have recorded a song together in a charity support for all children being able to celebrate their birthday. A Danish and a Swedish national finalist is taking part as well.

Denmark's rock mama number one, Sanne Salomonsen, is back with a new album titled Tiden Brænder. The album contains 13 songs all in Danish and will be the first in this decade, that is Sanne's fifth as one of the country's most popular singers.
The official album with all 10 songs from the 2009 Dansk Melodi Grand Prix is becoming a best seller, as usual. The charts also reveal that the re-lease of the 2008 album from Brinck, who won the Danish national final, is selling well. The Danish album top40 includes several Eurovision Song Contest connections.
