When Tivoli in Copenhagen this evening kicks off for Cabaret Showtime it will be to a season of many of Denmark's best entertainers - including four former Eurovision Song Contest participants. One of them, Kirsten Siggaard, participated a total of three times.
Keld and Hilda Heick have decided that, at the age of 65, it is time to enjoy the life as a pensioner. Yesterday they releases the album, which is going to be the last one in a careerspand of many decades. The album, that is self financed, is looking back on that long career.
Today, a new album by Anne Herdorf, who represented Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1987, was released. It is an album with cover versions of Danish Eurovision entries, national final songs and of course a new version of her own entry. Two foreign songs found its way to the album in a Danish version.
It looks like 2009 won't be Annette Heick’s third attempt to represent Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest as she is pregnant and expecting to give birth in February, something that could easily collide with a Danish final.
