Mr. Grand Prix Keld Heick has released a solo album with cover versions of rather unknown Rock’n’roll songs from the 1950’s and ‘60’s. For his fans this is very different from the schlager style they are use to, but for Keld it is going back to his roots where he started 50 years ago.

Malta has already started deciding who is to represent them in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Russia. During the semifinals held in Malta, there were some old Maltese representatives from previous Eurovision Song Contests, such as Miriam Christine, Chiara and Ludwig.

The massive riots in Thailand the last couple of days forced the Danish band MLTR to stay longer after a concert in the country where riots have closed all flight traffic. After some uncomfortable days it now looks like they can finally get home.

The writers of the 1996 Dansk Melodi Grand Prix winner "Kun Med Dig", Michael Learns To Rock (MLTR), are back in the studio working on their 7th album since they released their first album in 1991.

Franklin Brown who finished 7th in the Eurovision Song Contest together with Maxine in 1996 is now ready to seek other ways. After singing in various musicals in recent years he has now started a trio that will sing a la Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr.
