The only victorious Eurovision participant from Turkey, Sertab Erener has been preparing to celebrate her 20th anniversary in music with a special album release titled Sade. It contains eleven songs with three bonus remixes and will be released on April, 12th in digital stores. The first video-clip from the album has already been released.
Eurovision fans were confused after TRT had stated that they may consider withdrawal in 2013. Then, everyone calmed down when TRT started to put lots of effort trying to decide which artist should represent Turkey in Malmö. However, today it's been officially announced that, Turkey will not take part in the 2013 edition of Eurovision Song Contest.

As it is planned to hold a special meeting with an advisory board in early november, the exact date and the names participating at the meeting is determined by the broadcaster.
After TRT's general director, Ibrahim Sahin's statements regarding a possible withdrawal for Turkey in relation to the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest they have now confirmed that they will participate after all. The Turkish broadcasting cooperation will start its preparations in early November.

Meanwhile, the Director General at TRT had a shocking message for the media: "We may consider withdrawal from the contest in 2013."
The Russian broadcaster RTR announced more details about the big national final on the way to Baku. 25 participants will be participating for the golden medal where previous winner Dima Bilan will make a return with former represenative, t.A.T.u's Yulia Volkova.
The warm up laps in the Baltics started today with the first semifinal in the Latvian selection process named Eirodzeisma 2012. Ten participants competed to earn their place in the semifinal where only half could make. Andris Ābelīte, member of Bonaparti.lv, who represented the Baltic country in 2007 also succeeded to qualify.
Turkish broadcaster TRT's music channel TRT Music has opened their annual poll for the public to choose Turkey's representative at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2012. The poll will show the public decision to the broadcaster as in previous years.
