In the first heat of this year’s Melodifestivalen the voting record for any Swedish opening was broken – and the second heat gave yet another record. The previous voting record for any Melodifestivalen semi-final heat was beaten with more than 60.000 votes.

In the second semifinal Måns Zelmerlöw & H.E.A.T. was selected by the swedish audience to go forward to the national final Melodifestivalen.
Amy Diamond and Lili & Susie makes it to the second chance round, the first of those having two chances to qualify for the final as an international jury picks an 11th finalist.

SVT has now announced the first eight singers who are going to perform at next years swedish national selection Melodifestivalen. Big and well known names here are Måns Zelmerlöw, BWO and Alcazar.

It was a rainy night with dark heavy clouds hanging above Kungstorget in Gothenburg, Sweden, when Rix fm festival had its annual stop there. Invited to entertain the Gothenburg audience was Kate Ryan, Måns Zelmerlöv and E-type among others.

Lasse Holm has been on tour with his show Diggiloo every summer since 2003. This year the audience will meet artists such as Nanne Grönvall, Måns Zelmerlöv and Lotta Engberg.
