Just minutes ago Ukraine selected their eight entry for the Eurovision Song Contest. Vasyl Lazarovich had, internally, been chosen to represent his country this year and tonight the song was chosen in a show that featured four other participants we'll see in Oslo.

The quarter final of the German selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010, Unser Star für Oslo, was held tonight. The previous rounds were shown on the Pro Sieben channel. Tonight's show and the final on 12 March 2010 will be shown on Das Erste channel. The semi final will be broadcast on Pro Sieben on 9 March 2010.

Miroslav Kostadinov with the simple artist name Miro will represent Bulgaria at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. That was decided already back in October. Tonight the TV viewers picked the song he will be singing in Oslo trying to bring the country back to the final they failed to reach last year.

The fourth heat in Sweden just ended. After the performance of the remaining 8 songs in the selection the last two direct qualified positions for the final in Globen were filled. As two more acts went to the second chance round the line-up for the next heat is known.

The next stage of the Unser Star für Oslo to decide the German performer at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 took part tonight. Eight acts competed and 2 performers left the competition.

The bottom 2 acts will be eliminated from this 3rd show to decide who will participate for Germany in the Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo in May. 10 acts competed and 8 will continue to the next part of the competition.

The 2nd show of Unser Star für Oslo, to decide who will represent Germany in Oslo, took place on Tuesday February 9. The creator of the show, Stefan Raab, was one of 3 judges. The 2 guest jury members were German pop/soul singer, Sarah Connor and a big star of German music, Peter Maffay.

We can now offer our readers the chance to listen to what might represent Romania in Oslo in May. Among the songs is one which will be sung by Luminita Anghel, who participated for the country in 2005.
