After Michael von der Heide’s failure in Oslo, Swiss television prepares a new selection procedure for the Eurovision Song Contest 2011. The Swiss audience shall decide who will represent the country next year in Germany. A decision will be made already in December.

Ukranian broadcaster for the Eurovision song contest NTU announced there will be a new national final, starting tomorrow, 18th March. It was claimed that the previous internal selection was unfair.

Just minutes ago Ukraine selected their eight entry for the Eurovision Song Contest. Vasyl Lazarovich had, internally, been chosen to represent his country this year and tonight the song was chosen in a show that featured four other participants we'll see in Oslo.

Miroslav Kostadinov with the simple artist name Miro will represent Bulgaria at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. That was decided already back in October. Tonight the TV viewers picked the song he will be singing in Oslo trying to bring the country back to the final they failed to reach last year.

The fourth heat in Sweden just ended. After the performance of the remaining 8 songs in the selection the last two direct qualified positions for the final in Globen were filled. As two more acts went to the second chance round the line-up for the next heat is known.
