Today EBU made the split result for this year's Eurovision Song Contest public. A few surprises, but Loreen from Sweden won both with the jury and the televoting. It is however clear that the Russian Party For Everybody didn't exactly include the juries.
Danish broadcaster, DR, has today published the Danish jury result, which shows a clear difference between the jury and the TV viewers. The jury didn't like Russia and Iceland, but prefered countries like Moldova and Israel. Both parts do agree on Sweden and Germany though.
In Denmark close to 1.5 million people watched the Eurovision Song Contest, it is 50% higher than last year and gives a good market share of 68%. People are however not satisfied with Brinck’s 13th place – and just like him they are complaining, especially towards Sweden.
The Euro 2008 championship held in Switzerland and Austria started today. We’ll keep you updated with the latest results throughout the whole tournament where 14 Eurovision countries plus two former ones, Italy and Austria, compete against each other.
