An RTÉ source has confirmed to EuroVisionary.com that the 2009 Irish national final will be broadcast as part of a Late Late Show special.

Good evening and welcome to the 2008 EDC Irish national final.  Tonight's final is taking place on the most popular Irish TV show 'The Late Late Show'. 

Winner's tour to stop in Ireland & San Marino

The winner's tour has had many new destinations added to it this year and may of them are western European stops.  The two latest editions to the schedule are the small island nation of Ireland and the even smaller San Marino.
