A while after this year's Eurovision Song Contest has ended with a German victory, the details of the Turkish televoting and jury results have been revealed by the national broadcaster of Turkey, TRT. The winner of the contest, Lena, had the advantage of the new system's treasure.

As could be expected, the interest was big when Azerbaijan's performer Safura took the stage. Would the favourite to win the contest live up to the high expectations?

The Organisation Générale des Amateurs de l'Eurovision, OGAE, which is the most famous fan club of the Eurovision Song Contest, is holding its annual contest, the OGAE Song Contest. Each country's own section of the ODAE is participating. This year's contest is being held in Croatia.

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest comes closer to rock Lemasos. The order in which the 15 songs will participate has been decided and Romania gets the challenge of opening the event.

The biggest event which the EBU (European Broadcasting Union) organises after the Eurovision and Junior Song Contests, the Eurovision Dance Contest, was held in Glasgow, UK last night.

In a small survey conducted among popular Azerbaijan artists the Azeri Press Agency found that most did not understand one of the main rules of the contest. 

Although Azerbaijan enters the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time this year, Elnur - the Azerbaijani representative - talked about challenging for a possible victory at the contest, ''We believe that we will win if we perform well.''
